and evaluate the real problem of multispecies and mixed fisheries at the regional level, in their current situation and in the new scenarios (for example, the EU27),\u00a0with the entry of the Landing Obligation in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Research\nobjectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study addresses three key aspects of the landing obligation\nimplementation in the Atlantic South Western Waters (SWW) fisheries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Identify<\/strong>, using publicly available data sources, stocks that\ncan be considered choke under the implementation of the landing obligation;<\/li><li><strong>Investigate<\/strong>&nbsp;fleets, tools and management actions appropriate\nfor each stock\/fishery to reduce the deficit between catch and quota,\nconsidering also external factors such as climate change and the withdrawal of\nthe United Kingdom from the EU (\u201cBrexit\u201d).<\/li><li><strong>Determin<\/strong>e stocks of high-risk of being choke species after\nusing (or exploring their use) all the alleviating tools (flexibilities and\nexemptions) already anticipated in the article 15 of the CFP or any other\ndifferent management
