It applies to all employees in our centres in the Basque Autonomous Community and will be in force until June 2026, with the possibility of revision if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"850\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azti.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Plan-de-igualdad.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40629\" srcset=\"https:\/\/old.azti.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Plan-de-igualdad.jpg 850w, https:\/\/old.azti.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Plan-de-igualdad-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/old.azti.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Plan-de-igualdad-768x482.jpg 768w, https:\/\/old.azti.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Plan-de-igualdad-450x282.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The plan is structured around<strong> three strategic axe<\/strong>s designed to ensure equal treatment and opportunities at all levels of the organisation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>1. Good Governance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We promote an organisational culture that embeds equality in all our policies and procedures. This includes the implementation of compliance tools, equality training and communicating our commitment to the entire workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>2. People Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are working on specific measures to ensure fairness in recruitment, promotion and remuneration, as well as the shared responsibility for work-life balance. We are also reinforcing the prevention of harassment and the elimination of gender gaps in positions of responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>3. Impact on Society<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>AZTI plays an active role in promoting gender equality in the scientific and technological sector. We are committed to integrating the gender perspective in our research projects, promoting women&#8217;s participation in science and collaborating with networks and forums specialised in gender equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Monitoring_and_Evaluation_a_Real_Commitment\"><\/span>Monitoring and Evaluation: a Real Commitment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure the success of the plan, we have set up a <strong>Monitoring and Evaluation Commission <\/strong>to ensure its correct implementation. In addition, we have specific measurement and adjustment tools to continuously improve our actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At AZTI, we believe that equality is the key to innovation and progress. With this 2nd Equality Plan, we continue to build a fairer and more equitable future for all people who are part of our organisation.
