{"id":24118,"date":"2021-07-12T12:34:59","date_gmt":"2021-07-12T10:34:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.azti.es\/campos-de-aplicacion\/operational-oceanography-services\/observacion-operacional\/"},"modified":"2024-01-23T09:29:18","modified_gmt":"2024-01-23T08:29:18","slug":"operational-observation","status":"publish","type":"application_field","link":"https:\/\/old.azti.es\/en\/research-areas\/operational-oceanography-services\/operational-observation\/","title":{"rendered":"Operational Observation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"two-columns-content\">\n    <div class=\"two-columns-content-left\">\n        \n<div class=\"wp-block-azti-two-columns-content\"><h1>Operational Observation<\/h1>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Through Operational Observation we seek to develop a cutting-edge, multiplatform, and multidisciplinary coastal observation network, consolidating a marine research infrastructure, which allows the generation of all necessary information pertinent to&nbsp; the sustainable management of coastal areas, their resources, and human activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are entering the United Nations Decade of Ocean Sciences for Sustainable Development (2021-2030). The challenge is to jointly design and implement an oceanic observatory that provides data and information for an ambitious policy of transformation towards a blue economy and a sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At AZTI, we are working on the development and implementation of innovative observation systems, with <em>in situ<\/em>, remote and autonomous solutions, expanding the multidisciplinary capacity of the observatory.
